A New School Year

School for the Sauer kids will start on Sept. 6, 2010. Mom is going to let me keep up studying weather for science, but I'm going to do another science subject. I'm going to learn Electricity.
That should be intresting. I also think I'm going to be learning art and Elementry Diagramming
Work Text. For History, I'll be learning about Ancient Eygpt. Editor in Cheif is a Grammer workbook. Today, I had an appointment to get a Hepititas A shot. :( . Luck came on time. At least 30 min. ago, the doc called and said they ran out of shots and they won't have any for at least a week. YAY!! No shots expected for a week!!!

Hot, Muggy, Weather.

Today is very hot. I wanted to read a book outside but, I had to set up my tepee. And, I put down some old towels that were worn on the edges so that my legs wouldn't get itchy. Did you know that when I wake up without looking at the forcast for the day, I know if its going to be hot or not? I have a riddle for any one to guess what I'm talking about.

I am hot and cold at the same time
I come Light, Medium, or Extra Spicy.
I am from Mexico.
Who am I?

Good Luck!!!!

A Fenderbender

You will find it hard to believe, but when Mom was waiting to make a right hand turn onto Seneca, a durrango lightly bumped us on our back bumper.

I jerked forward a little bit  because I was in the back of the van. Mom got out to look at the damage. Luckily, it was only a few scratches. It took at least 30 minutes before the police came. I think there were a lot of wreaks that day. We were in the middle of a thunderstorm, but after the thunderstorm, things started heating up. Mom and I were sweating like crazy. Thanks to G2G that they gave me the idea of carrying a hankerkhief. Mom was suprised on how hot it was after the storm."It’s like Lousiana out here!” said Mom. My Mom is from Lousiana, so she knows how hot it is; ecpecially in the middle of the summer. Every one is okay and the damage on the van isn’t very noticeable.

Hurricane Warning

A Hurricane Warning is in affect for the southern parts of TX. Here is the following names of the cities that will get a Hurricane or Tropical Storm. Courpus Christi, Port Aransas, Rio Grande City,
Rockport and other surronding areas. Tropical Storm Alex will strengthen into a Hurricane. If you happen to know anyone in that area, they might end up coming up to your area. If you are planning to go on vacation down there this week or next week better stay at your house till this storm is gone.

Sick of being sick

True. I have a fever of about 101.2 degrees. Lucia,Clara Me,Anna, and Dad. Mom might get it. Oh well. I can't think that well but one thing. Last night, I was lying in bed when the power went out.
The lightning was so loud, Anna and I, went out into the living room and curled up on the recliner.
The power went out again for a few seconds. I ran to the top of the basement stairs and yelled for Dad. He said everything was alright, but I said that lightning might hit our house. Then he said that if lightning hit the house, we would all e toast weather upstairs or downstairs. This didn't calm me down a bit. But the storm was over, and I was asleep.

Wild day

What a wild day! It all started after dad got home. He went downstairs to talk with mom. When he came back up, he wanted to talk to me. "I don't want you talking about the weather. I'm here, and I will take care of everything." He said. He went out into the garage and found our NOAA weather radio and turned it on. " It works Dad!" I said excitedly. Dad should not have had it on, for it started to go off. Dad went over to it. "A tornado warning has been issued for Kingman and SW Sedgwick county." it said. After listening to the radio a little more I realized that if it kept on going in the same direction, it would hit my friends home. Luckily, it didn't.
